A tense encounter between officers and a male suspect has exploded online after police body-worn camera footage revealed the chaotic moments leading up to his arrest for alleged possession with intent to supply Class-A substances.
The situation unfolded when officers spotted what they believed to be suspicious behavior near a public trash bin and moved in swiftly.
The footage shows officers approaching the man while repeatedly ordering him to stop. They later stated that they saw him put “something in the bin” as they arrived, which immediately raised their suspicion. When questioned, the man denied the accusation, insisting the only item he discarded was a plastic bottle — something he claims officers asked him to throw away themselves. Despite his arguments, officers maintained they witnessed him disposing of more than simple rubbish.
