Motorists were left speechless when they saw a woman cruising down the street with something utterly bizarre — a full-sized metal street sign jutting out of her car like a makeshift flag.
Sparks flew as the sign scraped the pavement, yet the driver seemed entirely unaware of the chaos behind her wheel.
Concerned drivers called 911, and police quickly intercepted the vehicle. Up close, the officers couldn’t believe what they saw: the entire signpost was embedded in the car’s side, bent and dragging, as if she had driven straight through it… and kept going.
When questioned, the woman appeared genuinely puzzled. Pointing to the massive street sign sticking through her passenger door, she reportedly shrugged and said she “thought the noise was just the car acting up.”
Officers conducted sobriety tests, spoke with witnesses, and quickly concluded that she had no business being on the road. She was arrested immediately for reckless driving, with additional charges possibly pending.
Bystanders captured the unbelievable scene on video, and the footage has since gone viral.
One thing is clear:
if you’re driving with an entire street sign lodged in your car… you’re definitely getting pulled over.
